never mind Jason, the same thing happened to me really early this morning, ya just gotta go with the flow and carry on. The thing is you got the bite so your bait and presentation must be right.

clear water, varying depthsfrom 2 -8 feet, not sure on the average size of fish but i believe there is about 90-100 fish, there are bars allover the place some visable some not , the bottom is gravel with some small silty patches ,lots and lots of weed, and 23 bloody swans.

Things like depth, type of lake bed, av fish size, clear water or cloudy, any clear gravel bars. any info like that wld be great thank you. ello mate, jays more or less covered it...undulating, changeable lake bed with lots of weed. usual wind pushes into far corner/bay....some good fish did hold up near the carpark in mid-day to afternoon, but since the water level has dropped i've not seen them there. av fish? better ask phil.lol so far im at: 1x 16lb mirror (night) 2 x 24lb old mirrors (1 in day, 1 at night)) 1 x 23lb ghostie and common well over 27lb (day) they all from carp park end of lake.lol Its well worth the money mate, even if u only get a one good day out of the season...it really feels worth it when you know how hard everyone has it.lol hope to see u down there next year....i will be renewing my ticket....as well as looking at a few others hopefully...I AM A CARP ADDICT!!

Hi Every-one.
New to the small lake @ Kislingbury only joined last week. Walked the lake a couple of time and met some helpfull people, Seems that it's a hard lake to fish! I had a couple of days down there last weeked. I fished the carpark end as there was 3 people at the top end and the lakes big enough not to go treading on people toes. I never had a single bite but I wasn't the only one and from what i've read/heard about better get used to it! I think it will take a lot of getting used to and is deffinately a water that im going learn alot about myself as a angler!
