Hi, fished it this weekend for the first time, My mate (Carl) had 16 fish over 36 hours ranging from 9lb to 17lb. I only had a small stockie but bagged a lovely mirror (24lb4oz). Lake is weedy but there are clear spots, but seems to be fishing well.

i actually made the effort to go angling last night down Bigjon's Kisel lakes..... the wind was pushing down th far end of the lake where i wanted to fish, but the blue/green algae really put me off...so i went with the wing on my back at the top end of the 8 acre lake. Its alot shallower this end, with a few little gravel patches, mostly very silty, which is fairly unusual for a fairly young gravel pit. left rod against the far margin on a convential pop up rig,, middle 30yrds out on a choddy TnM and the right on a running rig TnM bottom bait. darkness fell and talk sport was there to keep me company. At around 11.15pm, the rain started to fall, and i saw two fish crash over my left rod area....soon after the delkim was screaming wellies on and i was in.....14lb ish pretty mirror was soon on the mat. i re cast and the middle rod was off....same stamp of fish, this time a common....from there on, i thought the best approach was to lamp some bait in.......i ended up...very, very wet...landing 9 more fish, including mirrors of 20.4 and 20.12 and this lovely 26.8 common at 7.15am.....that was the last take.....i wanted to stay another night, but i'd run out of bait...lol keep up the good work fellas...a cracking venue to come fella. check these munching cooooornts out...
