Unless u r a syndicate member u cannot fish Roman. Correct But Elson's has a quality head of Pike. I'd go on there every time. Or maybe Mallard....

Yes my mate Phil Jones is organising the Pike qualifiers on Elson's & Roman. This sunday (13th) is the next one. You have to book a place if you haven't already. If you draw Elsons, on recent match results, you will have a great chance of catching. Get on the Smelt. Might see you there.

Fished the match last sunday. Both Roman & Elsons were poor on the day. Maybe it was all the extra water we had in the days leading up to sundays match. Only 2 fish caught, 1 on Roman (5lb) & one on Elsons (8lb). Conditions seemed ok when we arrived but the big ol' girls weren't feeding. But hey ho, thats fishing. For anyone who is interested there is an open Pike match this sunday, (20th Jan) & hopefully the big girls will be hungry!
